What is best in life?
I must have watched this video 20 times. Don’t watch it if you haven’t seen Conan The Barbarian yet, it wouldn’t make much sense. Actually, if you haven’t seen the movie go watch it now. It’s great, despite being dated, and benefits from its simplicity, powerful characters and dialogue. Surprisingly enough the combat choreography is not bad for its age. Oh, and it features a soundtrack by one of my favorite movie composers, Basil Poledouris. Remember Klendathu Drop or Hymn to Red October?

Iron Man 2
So i just watched iron man 2.
It’s not as good as the first installment in the series.
Sure there are more action scenes and the inclusion of SHIELD makes the film interesting, but i think they took it a step too far. Characters seem contrived, (only Stark and Pepper escape this).
The motivations for the evil guy is cliché at best and the use of drones as enemies is a cop out.
I did enjoy the action bits and had a geekasm at the new one off laser gun bit (be ready for it) still it wasn’t oomphie or quirky enough for me.
Go see it but don’t expect Iron Man 1.
